How do I return an item?

Returning under our 30-day money back guarantee

For added peace of mind, we offer you a 30-day money back guarantee on every purchase. Follow the simple steps below for easy returns.

Step 1: Complete the returns slip received with your order and tick the box that best sums up why you're returning the item. Please note, should you wish to return more than one item they will need to be returned separately and in separate packaging. Please make sure you include your QVC membership details and order number.

Step 2: Choose how you want to return your item.

For all items under 15kg, we recommend you use myHermes or the Post Office to return your goods. For items over 15kg please contact us (the weight of your parcel can be found on your returns slip.)

If you return items on which you have saved personal information (e.g. photos, emails etc. on laptops, cameras or other electrical devices), you must erase this information completely before sending the item back to us

1. Returns via myHermes

To arrange a collection at a day convenient for you from either an address of your choice or from your local ParcelShop, go to myhermes.co.uk./returns/qvc. Please note:

  • Your parcel should weigh no more than 15kg
  • You need to have access to a printer to enable you to print the myHermes returns label

You can take your parcel to your nearest myHermes ParcelShop for £3.65. Alternatively we can collect your parcel from your home on a pre-arranged day for £3.95.

2. Returns via the Post Office

Place the returns label received with your item on to the outside of the parcel and take it to your nearest Post Office.

Note for all returns: Ensure you get proof of posting, which is available free of charge. If your item has a value of £200 or more, please request a ‘signed for’ service and ensure your item is covered by insurance.

If you are unable to use any of the above options please contact us and we will advise you on the best returns solution for you.

Returns can take up to 14 days to process. If we have your email address we will email you to confirm receipt of your return. You can also check the status of your return by signing into My account online. Any refund will automatically be issued to the card you used to place the original order and will show on your next bank statement.

What if I’ve misplaced my invoice?

Don’t worry if you no longer have your invoice. You can include a note with the product you want to return or exchange, detailing your full name, address, membership details, phone number and cost of purchase. If you have the order number and item number please include these, as well as the reason for return and the exchange or refund action you would like us to take.

Under our 30-day money back guarantee, the purchase price will be refunded provided that the product is returned in clean condition and in its original packaging. Our delivery charges will not be refunded. You should allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed. We will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the products.

Returning under your statutory cancellation right

As well as your 30-day QVC money back guarantee, you also have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the products (subject to the exceptions stated below).

You can cancel by sending us the cancellation form provided; by writing to us at Dept R (Cancellations), QVC, South Boundary Road, Liverpool, L70 2QA; via email; or over the phone - simply contact us. You should keep evidence of having given notice of cancellation.

You must return the products to us (at your own risk and cost) within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation in accordance with the return instructions and invoice enclosed with your order. The products must be returned unused with the original packaging. If the products are unsuitable for return by post, you will be responsible for the cost of couriering them to us; if you contact Customer Care we will try to provide you with an estimate of the courier cost.

We will ordinarily refund the full purchase price together with the standard delivery charge paid within 14 days of receiving the returned products or proof of postage. If you chose to pay for express delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery. You must, however, take care of the products before you return them. We may reduce the amount we refund to you if you use them, damage them or otherwise do something beyond what is reasonably necessary to examine them that reduces their resale value.

You do not have the legal right to cancel the following items: (i) perishable products e.g. food or flowers; (ii) audio/video recordings, DVDs or computer software that you have removed from the sealed packaging in which they were delivered to you; (iii) products made to your own specification; (iv) periodicals or magazines; and (v) sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons that you have removed from the sealed packaging.

Returning faulty items

If your item arrives in a damaged or faulty state, or if it's different from the item you ordered, then QVC will happily refund the item (or replace where possible) within six months of delivery. Just contact us.

Return P&P charges

QVC will only pay P&P charges for the cost of returning items to QVC when they are damaged, faulty or incorrect.
